On
November 8-10 the competitions for The World Salsa Championships where
underway, they where held at the Miccosukee Hotel and Casino.Many
contestants where present each representing their own unique style. The First
part of the competition was a group dance then individual would dance 2min of their own song.
Finally, after all the couples danced then once again they would all come out
and dance together. At the end Rodrigo and Andrea received a First place in the
Cuban style and Forth place World Undisputed Championship. The New Image Salsa staff would like to
congratulate them for their outstanding achievement.

The
competition began with preliminaries after dancing all week Thursday came in
which they where faced with the "reto" which was a tango. They did
great and so after the votes where casted that night, they won with an amazing
46% of the votes. The next stage of the competition was the semi-finals
in which they did and amazing demonstration of salsa, tango and cha-cha-cha,
finally the "reto" was Danza Irlandeza, they where outstanding
winning the votes that night and making them the champions of the semi- finals.
They are now on their way to the finals, we wish them good luck. We
congratulate them for their achievements.
